January 19th Jet Tilton Photography Photo-A-Day!

Treestone found within Rowlett Cemeter, Plano, TX. These unique headstones were carved in the shape of logs or stumps, and they were for members of the fraternal benefit society called "Woodmen of the World". My photos-of-the-day are actually taken each day! Quite a motivation to get out and take photos!

January 18th Photo-A-Day for Jet Tilton Photography

This is a photo of abandoned farm buildings off of Highway 380 close to Prosper High School. Note crude Basketball backboard and hoop, even out in the country, they needed something fun to do, and basketball was it!

Trying to get motivated for 2011, and thanks to Joe Farace, I've also decided to create a 2011 Photo-a-Day (almost every day ;~) I will try and post every day, check out my blog daily for many new uploads!

Wife was right....good idea to take camera to birthday parties!

I'm going to make a conscious effort to add more of my recent photos to my blog.  I'm also trying to simplify the photographic process...which means I'm returning my Lensbaby system, and I'm going to focus on prime lenses and maybe a decent zoom.  Hopefully soon I'll be able to also by a digital body with video capabilities as well, since art these days can be stills or motion!

First post for Jet Tilton Photography! Photoshelter lets you include a link to a blog site, and I figure if Jonathan Canlas uses this, then I definitely have to try it out!
